Discover how gamification can transform an intranet into a vibrant hub of engagement and collaboration. In this session, we will demonstrate three interactive initiatives that have successfully energized our intranet platform and inspired employees to participate actively. The first example is an integrated word-guessing game tied to the company’s core topics, where employees learn key insights by solving puzzles. The second, My Little Planet, is an app-based challenge focused on sustainability, encouraging team competitions and promoting environmental awareness. By linking the app to the intranet, employees received updates, shared progress, and celebrated their collective achievements. Finally, we’ll explore the AI Challenges, designed to increase awareness of AI topics. Originally a two-week challenge, its popularity led to an extension as the community around it grew rapidly. Using the intranet as a dynamic social media platform, employees shared photos, videos, and updates, creating an active and connected community. The session will also address the challenges faced during implementation and offer actionable insights for integrating gamification into your intranet strategy to foster engagement and collaboration. In this session, you will learn

  • How to incorporate gamification into your intranet to increase employee engagement and make learning interactive and fun.
  • How to use intranet-driven campaigns and apps to promote team spirit and foster competition around meaningful topics like sustainability.
  • How to leverage the intranet as a social media platform to share updates, celebrate achievements, and build a thriving online community.
